Earlier this year, The American Postliberal declared that Donald Trump would be triumphant in the presidential election and was the man to save America. Now, we say with great pleasure that he has triumphed. Despite being branded an enemy of the regime, facing federal charges, convictions, and assassination attempts, he has won triumphantly and in a landslide. In the end, the regime could not stop him. The realignment is complete with his victories in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The American people demand conservative populism.
After a stolen election and forced exile, Trump declared victory on election night with a mandate from the American people in the culmination of his ten year saga of dominance over American politics. What most pundits will still miss, however, is the American people’s deep love for him. Not only did he win the Electoral College, but he won the popular vote. This comes along with the Senate and what appears to be another Republican majority in the House of Representatives. Trump will be only the second president to serve non-consecutive terms, a symbol of his enduring popularity and incredible defiance in the face of adversity. He has long earned his place as a great man of history and must lead as such.
In an echo of his historic victory in 2016, Trump will now preside over a trifecta government. It is now time for us to unify with our opponents and fellow countrymen. Yet, this unity must come from them unifying with us in view of the mandate that the American people unanimously issued, not the other way around. With love, we must give the impetus for unity, but not go crawling back with shame of our victory and begging the political establishment for acceptance. With this mandate and attitude, the possibilities for America are endless.
Much will be said of the historical and world changing significance of his victory, but one quality of the next administration must be stressed above all else: personnel. It is the only limitation to the endless possibilities. The second Trump administration must get personnel right. It is policy, after all. There can be no compromises. It does not matter what lofty policies are promised or proposed in exchange for a compromise on who staffs the president. No compromise can be made and no quarter can be given on the issue of total loyalty to the president and the executive branch he commands.
We have seen time after time what compromise gets us with the wrong personnel. In the Reagan administration, it was a failure to implement the border security measures provided in exchange for amnesty in the 1986 immigration reform bill. In the first Trump administration, it was everything to the Russia hoax to generals refusing direct orders from the president to pull out of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. This time, hiring is already off to an excellent start.
Tuesday’s victory was a night for the American people. While we deserve a victorious celebration, we cannot afford ourselves such a luxury. It is now up to Trump to start governing right away and jealously guard the patronage he must now hand out. We cannot allow a second trifecta government to be squandered and sabotaged by traitors and subversives.
Trump’s loyal supporters serve this administration and work thanklessly and tirelessly to ensure President Trump’s vision for the country is fulfilled. This mission will not be lucrative, it will not be easy, and it will not even be in the self-interest of many, but it must be taken up because it is the right thing to do by the American people.

You get NOTHING. Every Trump success is a failure for civilization. Trump is a fascist who will declare martial law and rule as a dictator. At least until he kills me I will devote my life to making sure that his every moment in the Oval Office is an agony and a crashing, burning failure.
“What most pundits will still miss, however, is the American people’s deep love for him.”
Settle down, son. Trump won 50% of the vote, which means 50% of the American people don’t love Trump at all. Moreover, exit polls show a substantial portion of his voters voted more against Harris than for Trump. I understand and respect that you, along with a small proportion of other Americans love Trump deeply, but let’s not extend that deep love too far beyond what it is.
