Shot Heard Round the World
If Trump did not embrace his genuine style, and instead followed the mantras of a typical politician, we could be in a very different place right now.

Right now, America is a tinderbox, and we just came within an inch of lighting it on fire. I imagine that everyone reading this knows to which I am referring. Just last Saturday, less than forty eight hours ago, President Trump faced an assassination attempt. He did not “fall at a rally” or end the event prematurely due to “unexplained projectiles,” as some outlets have reported. No, he faced a clear-cut assassination attempt. This was perhaps the closest any presidential candidate has come to being murdered on the campaign trail in recent memory, with the bullet only barely managing to miss Trump’s skull and instead scraping his ear. While the injuries he sustained were not serious or life-threatening, the attempt on his life was surely.
Unfortunately, this threat should not really come as a surprise to anyone within our movement. Liberal pundits and politicians have been encouraging this abominable kind of behavior for years at this point, ranging from the disgusting stunt pulled several years ago by Kathy Griffith and the fake decapitated head to Democratic congressman Bennie Thompson introducing a bill that would strip Trump of his Secret Service protections. A bill he has not since rescinded, by the way.
The regime has wanted this to happen ever since Trump first rode down the golden escalator in Manhattan, and the reason why is clear to anyone on the right. Trump has been the greatest threat to the liberal order in this country for almost a decade, and this was not the first time they tried to destroy him.
They battered him with false allegations, unearthed secret recordings of him saying vulgar things from years past, “interpreted” his statements in the most uncharitable way possible, and kicked him off the platform where he was the most effective at speaking to his supporters. They tried to throw him in jail and now they have tried to kill him. Make no mistake: this was an attempt to kill the president. If Trump’s head was tilted a slightly different direction or the wind blew just a bit off, the country would be in a state of chaos and possible war right now. Attempts by our political class to “cool down the rhetoric” is a distraction. This is their fault and a result of their efforts to portray Trump as a “dictator.”
The attacks on Trump have one thing in common, they have not worked. Trump has proven himself to be a once-in-a-lifetime political figure, a man who can shake things to the core without being shook himself. This assassination attempt will not stop him or his campaign. Instead, it will do the exact opposite. These tragic events have managed to unite our movement in a way that has not been seen in years. Trump has not only survived this, but he has come out better than ever, producing what will be one of the most iconic photos of this century.
As we move onward to victory in November, we must not forget that Trump was not the sole victim of this tragedy. The monster who committed this attack managed to take the life of a loving father and firefighter chief named Corey Comperatore. While the killer who did the unspeakable was killed, bleeding out on a tin roof, Comperatore died protecting his family, as a hero.
At this point, there are thousands of different takes coming from all angles as we begin to uncover more and more about Saturday’s events. Out of all the chaos that was produced from the bullets of that sniper, one thing stood out in particular: Trump came within just one inch of death. The reason why he avoided such a fate was because he slightly moved his head because he did not want to read off the teleprompter at that moment.
Trump decided to throw out the cliches of a typical politician and instead opted to embrace his fiery and courageous rhetorical style. For years, the establishment on both the left and the right have dogged him for this, calling it “unprofessional” and “unstatesmanlike.” At the end of the day, however, it saved his life.
Trump does not care about what they had to say and instead cared much more about being true to himself and to his followers. If he did not embrace his charismatic, genuine style, and instead followed the mantras of a typical politician, he would have taken a bullet to the back of the skull and would be a dead man. His brazen nature was the difference between life and death. Trump survived because he bucked the norm.
America will be made great, again, this November. Nothing can stop our movement. After all, Trump really is the man in the arena, and we must join him. We will win. Liberalism will lose. God bless our nation and God bless Donald Trump.

how is Trump a post-liberal as opposed to a 2004 liberal? Especially now since the GOP softened its stance on abortion
